These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our website and apply to enquiries, consultations, site visits, design services, interior projects, furniture services, Vastu consultations, and other services provided by Vastu Veda Interiors.
By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry, requesting a consultation or site visit, or engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
About Vastu Veda Interiors
Vastu Veda Interiors is a Bengaluru-based interior design and related services business providing solutions including:
* Residential interior design
* Full-home interiors
* Commercial interiors
* Modular kitchens
* Custom furniture
* Furniture manufacturing
* Turnkey interior solutions
* Space planning
* 2D design drawings
* 3D design visualisations
* Interior consultation
* Vastu consultation
* Other related design and project services
Furniture and manufacturing services may also be provided under Sutradhar Woodworks, an initiative of Vastu Veda Interiors.
The exact services provided to a client will depend on the scope agreed in the applicable quotation, proposal, work order, agreement, invoice, or other written confirmation.
Website Use
You may use this website for lawful purposes and for obtaining information about our services.
You must not:

When you submit your contact details, you authorize Vastu Veda Interiors to contact you regarding your enquiry, requested service, consultation, site visit, quotation, or related business communication, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
An enquiry does not guarantee availability, pricing, project acceptance, or commencement of services.
Site Visits
Site visits are subject to availability, project location, access to the property, and other practical considerations.
Any free or complimentary site visit offered by Vastu Veda Interiors is subject to the specific conditions communicated to the client at the time of booking.
Where a site visit or additional visit is chargeable, the applicable fee will be communicated before the visit.
A site visit does not automatically include design work, drawings, quotations, measurements, material selection, or project execution unless specifically agreed.
Consultation Services
Consultation services may include interior consultation, space planning, design consultation, Vastu consultation, or other services specifically agreed with the client.
The scope, duration, deliverables, and applicable fees will depend on the service selected and the terms communicated by Vastu Veda Interiors.
Quotations & Estimates
Any quotation, estimate, proposal, or price communicated by Vastu Veda Interiors is based on the information and requirements available at the time of preparation.
The final project price may depend on:
* Final measurements;
* Site conditions;
* Selected materials and finishes;
* Hardware and accessories;
* Design changes;
* Quantity and specifications;
* Transportation and installation requirements;
* Labour and manufacturing requirements;
* Taxes and statutory charges; and
* Other items included in the agreed scope.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, a website price, indicative estimate, promotional price, or verbal estimate is not a final project quotation.
A project quotation becomes binding only when accepted in accordance with the applicable quotation, work order, agreement, or other written confirmation issued by Vastu Veda Interiors.
Scope of Work
The scope of each project will be determined by the applicable quotation, proposal, work order, agreement, or written confirmation.
Items not expressly included in the agreed scope shall not be considered included merely because they appear in photographs, sample designs, 3D visualisations, discussions, or promotional material.
Additional work requested by the client may be treated as a variation or additional scope and may involve additional charges.
Design, Drawings and 3D Visualisations
2D drawings, 3D renders, layouts, concepts, mood boards, material representations, and other visualisations are prepared to communicate the proposed design.
Visualisations are indicative and may differ from the final executed project due to:
* Actual site conditions;
* Measurements;
* Material availability;
* Manufacturing limitations;
* Lighting conditions;
* Natural variations in materials;
* Colour differences between screens and physical materials;
* Product availability; and
* Technical or structural requirements.
The final execution will be based on the approved specifications, drawings, materials, measurements, and scope applicable to the project.
Design Revisions and Client Approvals
Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving designs, drawings, materials, finishes, colours, layouts, and other project specifications before execution or procurement.
Changes requested after approval may affect project costs and timelines.
Where additional work, material, labour, manufacturing, transportation, or installation is required because of a client-requested change, the additional cost may be charged to the client after communicating the applicable change.
Measurements and Site Conditions
Project measurements are based on information and measurements available to Vastu Veda Interiors at the relevant stage of the project.
Where actual site conditions differ from previously provided information, measurements, drawings, or assumptions, the design, scope, pricing, or timeline may need to be revised.
The client is responsible for providing accurate information relating to the property and notifying us of any known restrictions, structural conditions, approvals, building rules, or other relevant information.
11. Materials, Products and Finishes
Materials, colours, textures, laminates, veneers, fabrics, hardware, fittings, appliances, furniture components, and other products may vary from photographs or digital representations.
Natural materials and manufactured materials may have variations in:
* Colour;
* Grain;
* Texture;
* Pattern;
* Finish; and
* Shade.
Where a selected product or material becomes unavailable, discontinued, or commercially unavailable, Vastu Veda Interiors may propose a reasonably suitable alternative.
Any material change that affects the agreed price or scope will be communicated to the client where applicable.
Furniture and Custom Manufacturing
Custom furniture and products may be manufactured according to the approved design, measurements, specifications, materials, and finishes.
Once manufacturing or procurement has commenced, cancellation or modification may not be possible without applicable costs.
For furniture manufactured under Sutradhar Woodworks, an initiative of Vastu Veda Interiors, the applicable quotation, work order, warranty terms, and project-specific conditions will govern the relevant product or service.
Project Timelines
Any project timeline communicated by Vastu Veda Interiors is an estimated timeline unless a specific completion date has been expressly agreed in writing.
Project timelines may be affected by:
* Client approvals;
* Changes in scope;
* Changes requested by the client;
* Site readiness;
* Building or society restrictions;
* Material availability;
* Supplier or manufacturer delays;
* Transportation;
* Labour availability;
* Unforeseen site conditions;
* Government restrictions; or
* Events beyond our reasonable control.
Where delays occur due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, the timeline may be reasonably extended.
Client Responsibilities
The client shall reasonably cooperate with Vastu Veda Interiors by:
* Providing accurate project information;
* Providing timely approvals;
* Providing reasonable site access;
* Ensuring the site is ready for scheduled work;
* Informing us of relevant building, society, structural, electrical, plumbing, or other restrictions;
* Making payments within the agreed timelines; and
* Providing decisions and information required for timely execution.
Client-related delays may affect the project schedule and associated costs.
Payments
Payment schedules, advance payments, milestone payments, taxes, and other financial terms shall be specified in the applicable quotation, invoice, work order, agreement, or payment schedule.
Where an advance or milestone payment is required, work may commence or proceed only after the applicable payment has been received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If an agreed payment is delayed, Vastu Veda Interiors may temporarily suspend relevant work, procurement, manufacturing, delivery, or installation until the payment position is resolved.
Any consequences of payment delays will be governed by the applicable project agreement or quotation.
Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation and refund requests shall be governed by the applicable project quotation, work order, agreement, and our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Amounts relating to services already performed, customized work, materials procured, products ordered, manufacturing already commenced, third-party costs, transportation, labour, or other costs already incurred or committed may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law and the agreed terms.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
Third-Party Products and Services
A project may involve products, materials, manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, installers, logistics providers, or other third parties.
Where a product or service is supplied by a third party, the applicable manufacturer’s or service provider’s warranty and terms may apply.
Vastu Veda Interiors will reasonably assist the client with communication regarding third-party issues where such assistance falls within the agreed project scope.
Warranties and Defects
Any warranty applicable to a product, material, hardware, appliance, furniture item, or service will be governed by the warranty terms communicated for that product or service.
Warranty coverage may be subject to the manufacturer’s or supplier’s conditions.
Damage resulting from misuse, improper maintenance, unauthorized modification, normal wear and tear, accidents, or circumstances outside the applicable warranty terms may not be covered.
Project-specific warranty terms, if any, will take precedence over general website information.
Intellectual Property
All website content, including but not limited to:
* Logos;
* Brand names;
* Text;
* Photographs;
* Graphics;
* Design concepts;
* Drawings;
* Layouts;
* 3D renders;
* Illustrations;
* Videos;
* Templates; and
* Other creative material
is owned by or licensed to Vastu Veda Interiors or the relevant rights holder and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Unless expressly permitted in writing, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, commercially exploit, or use our designs or other intellectual property for another project or business.
Client-Supplied Information and Materials
The client is responsible for ensuring that information, photographs, drawings, documents, designs, specifications, or other materials supplied by the client can lawfully be used for the project.
The client shall not knowingly provide material that infringes another person’s intellectual-property or other legal rights.
Project Photography and Portfolio Use
Subject to applicable law and any specific confidentiality commitment agreed with the client, Vastu Veda Interiors may photograph completed projects and use such photographs for portfolio, website, social media, advertising, marketing, and promotional purposes.
Where a client has a specific confidentiality requirement, the client should communicate this to Vastu Veda Interiors and obtain written confirmation of the agreed restriction.
